Photo Transfer App helps you avoid using cables to transfer photos and videos between mobile devices and computer, because the tool uses an available Wi-Fi connection instead. One of its main advantages is that it works on various platforms, including not only Windows but Mac and Android devices as well. Moreover, unlike other similar programs using Internet servers, this one creates P2P connections, so your private data is always transferred within the local network.

Photo Transfer App for Windows is free but it does require installing paid software on your portable device. However, the price is very reasonable and the apps can be used for free with a limitation on the quantity and quality of the photos transferred. Once your computer and portable devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, you can try to discover connected devices automatically. Unfortunately, this did not work for me. Instead, I had to enter the URL address given by my phone before I could connect to the target device. After that, the tool was able to discover all transferable files. In this respect, it is good news that it supports transferring several files in a single operation. Likewise, you can create albums to which you can upload the photographs.

All in all, I have to admit that the product being reviewed works as described by its developer. However, it is my duty to say that there are other programs that can transfer other types of files (practically any) and allow working with other types of data on your phone, such as messages and contacts. Therefore, if you are looking for something like that, you should probably keep looking.
